Most Cruise Ships Don't Have This On Board
Enough Outlets

With the exception of only the absolute newest cruise ships (we're talking those that debuted in 2014 or later), cruise ship cabins are well known for not having enough outlet space for all the gadgets and devices most cruisers carry with them on board. You are likely to find a couple throughout the room. And you might be able to unplug a lamp to get more sockets. Though if you have at least two phones in the room, plus a tablet, a game console, a battery pack, and a laptop, there will just not be enough space to charge all of them.
*Travel Tip* - to get one extra charging port, you can plug in your USB connecting device into a room TV. Most flat-screen TVs have a USB port in the back that can be used to charge one of the gadgets.
In this situation you probably do not want to have to fight for the outlet within your family or friends to be able to use your device to update social media, get some pictures or read your book. All good and necessary endeavors on your vacation. That is why its a great idea to bring with you one of these compact and lightweight portable power strips/surge protectors:
